This page sets out who owns what on Bagsby.com, what you may do with it, and how to ask for something to be taken down. It is deliberately short, because most of the answer is straightforward: the words are ours, the product images and specifications are not.
Our text
The editorial text on this site was written for Bagsby, and copyright in it belongs to the operator of Bagsby.com. That covers the write ups across the catalog, the category introductions, and the policy pages you are reading now, together with the structure and selection of the catalog itself.
You are welcome to quote a short passage for review, comment, news reporting or teaching, provided you attribute it to Bagsby.com and link to the page you took it from. What we ask you not to do is republish a whole write up, copy the catalog wholesale by scraping or automated extraction, or feed the text into a syndication network as though it were your own. If you want to do something beyond a short quotation, ask first through the contact form.
Product images, specifications and brand names
Product photography, packaging artwork, specification tables, feature descriptions, model numbers, logos and brand names shown on this site belong to their respective manufacturers, retailers or rights holders. We do not own them and we do not license them onward. They appear here for identification and editorial commentary about the products in question, which is why they sit next to our own analysis rather than standing alone.
Naming a brand does not imply that the brand endorses, sponsors, reviews or is affiliated with Bagsby. That applies equally to established makers you will find in the suitcases and luggage sets sections, to licensed character luggage in the kids’ luggage section, where the character rights sit with the entertainment rights holder rather than the bag maker, and to every other trademark mentioned anywhere on the site.
Specifications quoted on our pages are reproductions of what a manufacturer or listing published. They can be inaccurate, out of date or internally inconsistent, and on luggage they frequently are. We report them as claims, we flag the contradictions we can see, and we do not present them as measurements of our own, because we do not measure anything.
Requesting removal or correction
If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, send a notice through the contact form and include the following, which is what we need in order to act rather than to guess:
- The full address of the page or pages concerned.
- Identification of the specific material, such as the image file or the paragraph in question.
- Evidence of the right you hold, for example the original publication or the registration.
- A statement of your good faith belief that the use is not authorized, and contact details we can reply to.
Valid notices are acted on. Where a claim is clear we remove or replace the material rather than argue about it. The same route works for factual corrections: if a figure on a page contradicts your current documentation, send the page address and the correct figure and we will amend it.
