This is a bag for the person flying a basic economy or budget fare where the overhead bin costs extra, for the weekend traveler who packs two days of clothes and a laptop, and for the commuter who wants wheels instead of a shoulder strap. It is not a week-long bag, and the 24 liter capacity the listing publishes makes that plain.
The other traveler it fits is the one already carrying a larger suitcase. The feature bullets then publish two separate sets: exterior dimensions of 18 inches high by 13.5 inches wide by 8 inches deep, and packing dimensions of 14.5 inches high by 13.5 inches wide by 8 inches deep. The 14.5 inch figure in the product name is the packing height of the main compartment, not the size of the bag. A gate agent measuring the bag will get 18 inches, not 14.5.
What an airline sizer will read
Assume 18 by 13.5 by 8 inches is the number that matters. The listing does not state whether the wheels are included in that 18 inch height, which is the single most common reason a bag that looks compliant on paper gets stopped. Verage publishes 24 liters and 4.8 pounds. Twenty four liters is roughly two days of clothing plus a laptop, or one day of clothing plus a laptop and the usual electronics. The layout is a main compartment, a front organizer, a padded sleeve rated for a 14 inch laptop, and a side pocket with a headphone port so a power bank can sit inside and a cable can run out. Note that the power bank is not included and is not built in. That is the safer arrangement: a loose power bank stays in your possession and can be removed, whereas a bag with a sealed in battery can be refused at the gate under lithium battery rules. Buyers should still carry any power bank in the cabin rather than in checked baggage.
